The Second Asia Symposium on QFD and Innovation will be held from 26 to 27, September, 2017, on Zijingang Campus of Zhejiang University.

The theme is: "New Path of Systemic Quality Innovation". The Symposium will invite the quality experts and scholars from Japan，Singapore, Thailand, Hong Kong, Taiwan, mainland China and other Asian countries and regions, and Konica Minolta of Japan, Hong Kong Towngas, Haier and other world famous companies to discuss the systemic innovation method, theory and practice of quality management. The Conference will set up various topics, including "Asia Quality Innovation Award Enterprise Experience Exchange and Sharing", "QFD Project Exhibition Match ", “Quality Innovation”, and " Robust Six Sigma", providing a multi-dimensional interaction platform for the participants.

Collection of Papers

(1) Topic selection of the thesis

A. QFD (Quality Function Deployment) theory and method;

B. Aix sigma (DMAIC, DFSS);

C. Innovative QC group;

D. The combination of QFD with TRIZ, DOE, DFMEA, VE, LP and so on;

E. Other quality innovation methods and quality management innovation model.

(2) Thesis requirements

A. Has a clear conception, strong pertinence, sufficient arguments and refined text. The words are not limited, but generally not more than 5000 words;

B. The content of thesis should include title, author's name, unit, contact way, content summary, key words, text and reference.

(3) Thesis submission

Please submit the electronic version of abstract and text to the mailbox: AsiaQFDAssociation@126.com.

(4) Critical date

A. Deadline for abstract of paper submission: 2017.08.15

B. Deadline for full paper submission: 2017.08.31

(5) Thesis admission

A. After the review by the expert committee, the organizing committee will submit the paper admission notice within one week after submission;

B. The accepted papers will be submitted to the conference proceedings after registration, and the authors will be invited to public meetings.

Note: The official language of this symposium is Chinese (English / Japanese Chinese translation)

Project Collection

(1) Topic selection of the project

A. Innovation in quality management models or methods;

B. QFD (Quality Function Deployment) application case;

C. The application or combination of quality tools: DFSS, QFD, TRIZ, DOE, FMEA, QCC, TOC, etc.

(2) Publication requirements

A. Project should be published in PPT , including project topics, project team presentation, project background, implementation process, results, mode / method innovation, project summary and so on;

B. Each project team releases a time limit of 20 minutes;

C. Expert judges will select according to the rationality of the selected topic, the correct application of the method, the profitability of the project, the advanced nature and the demonstration.

(4) Critical date

A. Deadline for abstract submission: 2017.08.15

B. Deadline for project submission: 2017.08.31

(5) Project publication

A. The project will produce the "Asia quality function development project" and "Asian quality innovation excellence project" for this year, which will be commended at the closing ceremony;

B. Winners can apply for AQFDA registration QFD green belt certification of exemption.
